Easy Access to Liverpool One

The map below shows you just how easy it is to access Liverpool One Shopping Centre from James Street Station.

Liverpool One

A Short walk from James Street Station is the new Liverpool One, the new, 1 billion urban regeneration scheme.

Liverpool ONE is a completely new style of regeneration for the UK. By retaining and developing the existing streets, rather than simply building a huge shopping mall, the soul of the city is retained. When completed, Liverpool ONE will link the city centre with the Albert Docks by a "super pedestrian walkway". Currently the dockside attractions are cut off from the city by the busy Strand.

From September pedestrians will have priority over cars and the waterfront will be linked directly to the redeveloped Chavasse Park and then into the shopping areas.

A sample of the new stores on offer at Liverpool ONE include, Karen Millen, Apple, G-Star, Reiss, Faith, HMV, Ted Baker, Zara, Zara Home, Pull and Bear, Zavvi, Topshop, USC, Urban Outfitters, Bench and All Saints.

Retail analysts* predict that Liverpool ONE will catapult the city from 15th to 5th place in the UK’s retail league table, overtaking Leeds, Cardiff, Nottingham, Birmingham, Newcastle and Edinburgh making it one of the most exciting shopping destinations.

Entertainment and restaurants will also be included at the new development in the form of a 14 screen cinema, and various restaurants including the award winning Wagamama's.
